1. When and where is Municipal Court?

Municipal Court is held on the second Tuesday of every month at the Municipal Court Building at 202 8th Street, McRae-Helena. If you would like to request a bench trial, you will be assigned a court date during regular municipal court. Bench trials are held on the third Wednesdays every four months. If you have further questions you can call the Clerk of Court at 229-868-2093.

2. Can I pay my citation before court? How or where can I make this payment?

Yes, you can pay your citation before court and there are a couple of ways to do so.  You can:

• Come by the police department
• Send your payment in the mail
• Pay Online

We do not accept personal checks. You can make the payment at the police department with cash, money order, or Visa, Master Card, American Express, or Discover Card.

3. How can I find out the cost of my citation?

You can find out the cost of your citation by calling 229-868-2093 and speaking with the Clerk of Court.
